As you know, Our Space is the definitive place colleagues need to visit for information.
We are currently working on making Our Space available over any internet browser which we intend to deliver in the next couple of months. This will enable colleagues to access Our Space over their iPad or other tablet device, without having to go through Citrix receiver or open the full desktop. The experience will be browser specific so if accessing over your iPad or tablet device it will be in a mobile friendly format. All colleagues will have to do is authenticate by putting in their Bromford username and password when opening up the site through a browser (ensuring that the site is a private site only for Bromford colleagues with appropriate access.
For future working what this will mean in reality is as long as you are connected to the internet on a mobile device:
· Key documents i.e. policies and how to’s will be available in the field via a tablet
· Colleagues will be able to access and edit any team or project documents held on SharePoint via their internet browse
· Colleagues will be quickly able to access Our Space to view up to date news articles and announcements from their home PC/tablet or mobile phone without having to log into their full desktop
· Online workflows such as Lone Worker details updates, accident reporting, new starter forms will be possible via any internet browser.
